Dance. Performance. Mentorship.

Dance has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve studied it since I was six and performed on stages across Ukraine, Europe, and the US.
I graduated from a prestigious dance institute in Ukraine called Light, which is where the second half of the name Alaskan Light comes from. I studied contemporary, modern, jazz, tap, and many other styles, and during my training, I performed and competed across Europe as a member of the Light Dance Company, winning top honors in Italy, Greece, Poland, and other countries.

I’m a multi-time alumnus of the Galen Hooks Method, along with many other intensives and dance programs worldwide.
Teaching & Choreography

I carried my love of dance and performance into work as a private instructor, teacher, and choreographer. After learning so much about my own body and movement, sharing that knowledge with others felt like the most fitting next chapter.
In addition to curated private instruction, I teach and choreograph as the contemporary instructor at Juneau Dance Theatre. Bringing my visions to life through choreography has been life-changing. This art form translated into my dance films and so many other beautiful projects.
Wish to work together?
My time commitments have changed a lot over the years, and while I continue to teach and mentor a few students, my priorities often lie elsewhere these days. If you're interested in a private program or dance/artistic mentorship, please reach out below, but I can only dedicate limited time to new dance and teaching inquiries, so availability is often very tight. There's still always a chance, though.
